Kirby’s Steakhouse to Open Co-Branded Restaurant with Mickey Mantle’s at WinStar World Casino

THACKERVILLE, OKLAHOMA – JUNE 29, 2017 – Incredible steaks and fine dining are arriving this September at WinStar World Casino and Resort. Kirby’s Prime Steakhouse and well-known Mickey Mantle’s are opening a co-branded restaurant on the WinStar casino floor.

“Our ongoing strategic efforts are meant to enhance the overall resort experience for our patrons and that also includes our dining options,” casino general manager Wayne McCormick said. Those dining options include Kirby’s classics such as the Lobster Mac N Cheese, Fried Asparagus and “Cowboy Cut” Ribeye, in addition to Mickey Mantle’s world-class wine selection.

Joe Cleveland, director of operations at Kirby’s Steakhouse and Mickey Mantle’s spoke of the inspiration behind the restaurant. “Our new location at WinStar World Casino and Resort is the perfect place to tie our Oklahoma and Texas roots together by combining both restaurant concepts into one location,” Cleveland said. “We look forward to serving everyone soon, as our focus remains on providing an exceptional dining experience that can’t be matched anywhere else.”

The combined steakhouses cover a large area inside the casino and resort at nearly 8,000 square feet. Construction is expected to continue for two more months, and the finishing touches will be completed prior to the September grand opening.

Once opened, Kirby’s Steakhouse and Mickey Mantle’s combined venture will be the seventeenth restaurant in the WinStar World Casino. The casino and resort’s extensive dining options cover breakfast through late-night eats.
